A GoFundMe page has been set up to help a young man who, after a fishing event in Roscommon, badly damaged his car in a flood. The appeal reads: “We’re trying to raise funds to finance a replacement engine in Tomislav’s new car. Recently at the two day fishing event on Donamon, Co Roscommon, Tomislav on his way home, drove through the flood that happens at the fishing stands on the River Suck at Donamon. He has just recently replaced his car so is grateful for any assistance that we can offer. “The garage estimates are 5 to 6 thousand euro for a replacement engine so its a heavy cost to bear.
